Dear visitors of the Oldenburg Nikolai Market,

We look forward to celebrating the 20th Nikolaimarkt with you at the upcoming Pentecost festival.

One of the largest and most beautiful arts and crafts markets in Northern Germany is once again taking place in front of Oldenburg Castle. Around 90 craftspeople and designers from all over Germany are coming to Oldenburg to present their professional handcrafted goods.
The Oldenburg Nikolaimarkt has the subtitle "Market for New Crafts and Design." Traditional craft techniques paired with contemporary design result in wonderful products. The market was originally founded in 2004 in Oldenburg's Nikolaiviertel district and named accordingly. Now in its eleventh year, the Nikolaimarkt takes place in Oldenburg's Schlossplatz (Palace Square). Nestled between the palace, the old guardhouse, and the towers of St. Lambert's Church, the square offers a truly special atmosphere for this unique market.

Current works from all areas of the business, including textiles and stone, ceramics and leather, jewelry and wood, sculpture and graphics, will be on display.

Enjoy with us the beautiful atmosphere of Oldenburg's castle square, which is complemented by a fine selection of food and coffee specialties.

So mark your calendars now for June 7th and 8th, 2024. On both days, from 11 am to 6 pm, you can look forward to a truly worthwhile event at Oldenburg Castle Square . Admission is free!
